Comprehensive Services for Farmer Success
Our integrated approach addresses the key challenges farmers face: lack of market access, limited financial services, inadequate training, and difficulty accessing quality inputs. By providing these services through a farmer-owned cooperative model, we ensure that benefits flow directly to our members.
Each service is designed with input from farmers themselves, ensuring relevance to local conditions and alignment with actual needs on the ground.
Farmer Registration & Data Management
Building a comprehensive database of member farmers for targeted service delivery and traceability.
Our farmer registration system creates detailed digital profiles for each member, capturing essential information about their farms, crops, household demographics, and production history. This data enables us to provide personalized services and creates the foundation for market traceability.
Key Components:
-
Farmer profiling with unique identification numbers
-
Farm geo-tagging and boundary mapping using GPS
-
Crop enterprise inventory and production records
-
Household demographic data collection
-
Annual farm production tracking and yield analysis
Expected Impact
Enables targeted extension services, facilitates credit access through documented production history, and creates market traceability for premium buyers.
Produce Aggregation & Market Access
Connecting farmers to better markets through collective marketing and produce aggregation.
Individual smallholder farmers often lack the volume and bargaining power to access premium markets. Our aggregation model brings together produce from multiple farmers, creating economies of scale that attract larger buyers and command better prices.
How It Works:
-
Strategically located aggregation centers in each ward
-
Quality grading and sorting according to market standards
-
Weighing with calibrated scales and transparent pricing
-
Digital records of deliveries linked to farmer profiles
-
Negotiated contracts with institutional buyers
-
Timely payments through mobile money (M-Pesa)
Expected Impact
20-40% increase in farm-gate prices through elimination of middlemen, reduced post-harvest losses, and access to structured markets with guaranteed offtake.
Credit Access & Financial Services
Facilitating affordable financing for agricultural investments and working capital.
Access to credit remains one of the biggest constraints for smallholder farmers. We work with financial institutions to design farmer-friendly credit products and facilitate access through group guarantees, production records, and structured repayment through produce sales.
Services Offered:
-
Input credit for seeds, fertilizers, and agrochemicals
-
Working capital loans for farm operations
-
Asset financing for equipment and irrigation
-
Financial literacy training for all members
-
Group savings and internal lending programs
-
Crop insurance linkages for risk mitigation
Expected Impact
Enables timely acquisition of inputs, reduces reliance on exploitative informal credit, and builds financial assets and credit history for farmers.
Farmer Training & Extension Support
Building farmer capacity through practical training and continuous technical support.
Knowledge is the foundation of agricultural transformation. Our training programs cover the full spectrum of farming skills, from Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) to business management and cooperative governance. We use participatory methods including farmer field schools, demonstration plots, and peer learning.
Training Areas:
-
Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) certification training

Integrated Soil Fertility Management (ISFM)
-
Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
-
Post-harvest handling and storage techniques
-
Farm business management and record keeping
-
Climate-smart agriculture practices
-
Cooperative governance and leadership
Expected Impact
50-100% yield improvement through adoption of improved practices, reduced crop losses, and enhanced product quality meeting market standards.
Farm Input Supply
Ensuring access to quality, affordable inputs at the right time.
Timely access to quality inputs is critical for agricultural success. We aggregate demand from member farmers to negotiate bulk purchases directly from manufacturers and certified distributors, passing on significant savings while guaranteeing authenticity.
Products Available:
-
Certified seeds from KEPHIS-approved varieties
-
Quality fertilizers (basal and top-dressing)
-
Crop protection products (herbicides, pesticides, fungicides)
-
Soil amendments and organic inputs
-
Small-scale farm equipment and tools
-
Post-harvest packaging materials
Expected Impact
15-25% cost savings on inputs, elimination of counterfeit products, and timely availability aligned with planting seasons.
Agro-Dealer Services
Establishing local input distribution points for convenient farmer access.
To ensure inputs are available close to farmers, we are developing a network of village-based agro-dealers who will stock and sell quality inputs on behalf of the organization. These dealers will be trained to provide technical advice and ensure last-mile delivery.
Planned Features:
-
Village-level input distribution points
-
Trained dealers providing technical guidance
-
Digital inventory and sales tracking
-
Credit sales linked to produce deliveries
-
Quality assurance through controlled sourcing
Expected Impact
Reduced transportation costs for farmers, elimination of time lost seeking inputs, and creation of local employment opportunities.
